How often should I clean my solar panels?

In Austin, we recommend at least twice a year — once after cedar and oak pollen season in the spring, and once after summer when dust and debris accumulate. If you're near a construction site or have lots of trees, quarterly is ideal.

Will cleaning void my panel warranty?

Not when done correctly. We use only deionized water and soft-bristle brushes, which is the method recommended by every major panel manufacturer. We never use pressure washers or chemical cleaners.

How long does a cleaning take?

Most residential systems (10-25 panels) take about 45 minutes to an hour. Larger commercial arrays are quoted individually based on size and accessibility.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Nope. As long as we have access to the array and your gate code (if applicable), we can complete the job and send you the report by email when we're done.

What's the difference between visual and thermal inspection?

A visual inspection catches obvious damage like cracks, discoloration, and debris. Thermal imaging reveals hidden issues — hot spots from failing cells, bypass diode failures, and connection problems that are invisible to the naked eye.
